Yale Model United Nations (YMUN) India 2024 is a three-day international relations simulation for high school students through which delegates hailing from across the globe interact with one another through debate and diplomacy, aiming to solve some of the most complex challenges facing the world today.Our conference is run by Yale students, and will take place from January 12th to 14th in Gurgaon, India.

As an Assistant Director, you can help shape debate directly and get to know your Yale Director on a closer basis, allowing you to learn more about Model United Nations procedure, your committee, your director, and Yale as a whole. Serving as an AD of YMUN India provides a rich and unparalleled experience to demonstrate leadership and continue to develop in Model UN. You will be responsible for aiding directors in upholding proper parliamentary procedure, managing committee logistics, observing debate, and answering delegate questions. As ADs you will be an essential part of the team and without you the conference wouldn’t be successful.

This form serves as the official application to serve as an Assistant Director for YMUN India 2024. Please note that, by submitting this form, you are not guaranteed a spot as an Assistant Director, but rather will be considered for a position. Eligible applicants will either be accepted (in which case they will be offered an AD position for YMUN India 2024), waitlisted (in which case they may be offered an AD position for YMUN India 2024 at a later time), or not accepted (in which case they will not be offered an AD position for YMUN India 2024). Please note that both high school (grades 10-12) and college students are eligible to apply.

* AD’s should be completely available in-person in Gurgaon from the morning of 11th January to the night of 14th January 2024.

** AD’s are required to take care of their own travel and accommodation.
